Ani (I understand that it contains a few errata, here and there), and do my own translation. of a chapter But, I am actually more intent on investigating some of the Art History aspects. There is no paleography of the Coffin Texts that I know of, but I have heard rumor that there is one of the Hunefer Papyrus. Still, I am trying to sort out some basic facts of the ink technique, which seem to have been blurred by misinformation, over the years. Several scribes worked on P. Ani, and one of them seems to have been head and shoulders above most other ancient Egyptian calligraphers. (1989 = "Orbis Biblicus et Orientalis" vol.86). In consequence, if analytical database will be more analytical than in Niwinski's book, results perhaps will be adequate for doctoral thesis.
