Subject: AEL Study Guide for Sinuhe

To help me in my own studies I prepared a different arrangement of 
Jon J Hirst's translation of Sinuhe (that is the version you see at 
Jenny Carrington's web site) that puts the hieroglyphics, 
transliteration, and translations side by side on each page.  This 
makes jumping back and forth much easier.  You can cover part of the 
page with another piece of paper and then see how well you are doing.

With the kind permissions of Jenny Carrington and Jon Hirst I can 
make this available to everyone interested.  You can get the 56 page 
PDF file here:

AEL members may be interested in my new EGPZ Word List project (see
http://www.egpz.com/resources/egpz_wordlist.htm) where there are samples
illustrating Egyptian with both Unicode and Manuel de Codage transcriptions.
Transliterations are given in the traditional computer notation as well as
Unicode 5.1 (5.1 is still beta but release expected in March). Hieroglyphs
use EGPZ 1.0 encoding (see http://www.egpz.com/resources/egpz.htm where you can
download the release 1.0 sign list as PDF).

If anyone is interested in helping with the project, there is work to be
done on completing the German to English translations from
Beinlich/W=F6rterbuch and transcribing W=F6rterbuch hieroglyphs into MdC so
don't hesitate to get in touch.
